About Douglas Kalagian

Douglas is a documentary filmmaker from Orange County, CA. He holds a Master of Peace and Conflict from the University of Oslo and a Bachelor’s from UCLA. His work has screened at festivals including the Glendale and Newport Beach Film Festivals.

His work grew from researching his own family ancestry and recognizing how easily stories can be lost with time. He created Family Legacy Films to help individuals preserve their life history in a thoughtful, private conversation, creating a personal film families can return to for generations.
